OverviewThe Sales Manager will lead revenue growth for multiple brands within 3Step Lacrosse by driving event sales, and program participation. This role requires a highly motivated, relationship-driven professional who understands the youth lacrosse industry and can execute both strategic and tactical sales initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, events, and club leadership to expand our footprint, increase participation, and build long-term partnerships. Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue GenerationDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across events, regions, and organizations. Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities (brands, teams, organizations)Drive team and player participation in tournaments, showcases, and leaguesPartnership DevelopmentBuild and manage relationships with corporate partners and vendorsCreate customized partnership packages aligned with brand and event objectivesMaintain high retention and satisfaction across all accounts and eventsEvent & Program SalesCollaborate with club directors to maximize registration and revenueSupport pricing strategy, packaging, and promotional initiativesIdentify opportunities to upsell premium experiences and servicesCRM & ReportingMaintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecastingAnalyze sales data to optimize performance and identify growth opportunitiesReport on KPIs including revenue, conversion rates, and retentionMinimum Qualifications1–3+ years of sales experience (sports, events, or youth athletics preferred)Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targetsStrong relationship-building and negotiation skillsExperience in sponsorship sales, event sales, or lacrosse club/team engagement is a plusHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to travel for events, meetings, and tournamentsMust have valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 poundsPreferred ExperienceBackground in lacrosse or familiarity with the club/travel sports landscapeExperience selling into youth sports organizations or familiesExisting network within lacrosse, recruiting, or club sports communitiesKey Traits for SuccessCompetitive, self-starter mindsetStrong communicator and storytellerStrategic thinker with hands-on execution abilityPassion for youth sports and athlete developmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary + commissionComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA accounts, life insurance, paid holidays, and a generous PTO plan, as well as other elective insurance options401K retirement savings plan Paid Parental LeaveTravel opportunities to premier lacrosse events nationwideOpportunity to grow within the 3Step Sports platformDisclaimerThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
