Work Location: Based in Austin, TX, you’ll be at the heart of our operations.
What You'll Do:As the General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operational performance, customer satisfaction, profitability, and team leadership while ensuring seamless execution across all accounts and events.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all operational activities including planning, staffing, scheduling, execution, and profitabilityDrive operational excellence and implement strategies that improve efficiency, execution, and client valueMaintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, regular check-ins, and service reviewsEnsure successful execution of contracts including labor management, subcontractor oversight, invoicing, budgeting, and collectionsAnalyze estimated versus actual operational costs and identify opportunities for improvementRecruit, coach, mentor, and develop operational team members and supervisorsFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, communication, customer service, and continuous improvementCommunicate operational goals clearly across teams and maintain accurate operational reportingIdentify new opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and support business growthTravel up to 25% as needed to support operations and client accountsSupport additional operational initiatives and special projects as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a confident leader who can motivate teams, manage complex operations, and maintain exceptional customer relationships in dynamic environments.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experienceMinimum 3 years of operations, service, field, or project management experiencePrevious experience in one or more of the following industries preferred:Event StaffingSecurity OperationsSports & EntertainmentAthleticsVenue ManagementStrong leadership, coaching, and team-building skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced operational environmentsCustomer-focused mindset with strong relationship management skillsSelf-starter with initiative and problem-solving abilitiesAdaptable and responsive to changing business needsAbility to pass a background checkPhysical RequirementsThis role requires a combination of office and field-based work. Candidates must be comfortable standing, walking, climbing stairs, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
