JOB DESCRIPTION:Account Executive – Ticket SalesThe Knoxville Smokies, the Double-A Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, are seeking a motivated and energetic Account Executive to join the Ticket Sales Department. experiences for fans and corporate partners. Responsibilities:Sell season tickets, mini plans, group outings, hospitality areas, suites, and other ticket packagesRenew, upgrade, and service existing customer accountsGenerate new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and community engagementBuild and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer serviceMeet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goalsAssist with game day responsibilities, fan engagement, and client entertainmentMaintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactionsCollaborate with the sales team to develop new ideas and revenue opportunitiesCompensation & Benefits:Base salary plus competitive commission and bonus structurePaid vacationHealth benefits after introductory periodProfessional development and sales trainingOpportunity for growth within professional sportsEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Qualifications:Strong desire to learn and succeed in a competitive sales environmentBachelor’s degree preferred; sales experience is a plusAbility to sell effectively over the phone, virtually, and in personExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindsetAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office; ticketing/CRM systems a plusWillingness to work evenings, weekends, and long hours as needed during the season
