Director of BroadcastingLocation: Asheville, NC Organization: Asheville Tourists Baseball Club Venue: HomeTrust ParkThe Asheville Tourists have completed a $40 million renovation of HomeTrust Park and are seeking a high-energy, creative, and versatile broadcasting professional to join the organization. about baseball storytelling, live sports production, and creating engaging content across multiple platforms. All home games are streamed via radio and MiLBTV.com. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary “play-by-play” broadcaster for all Tourists home games Integrate sponsor messaging and promotional content into broadcasts Work all Asheville Tourists home games (66) and contribute to coverage of all road games (66) Manage media requests and assist with press relations Produce daily game notes for media and press box distribution Write nightly game recaps for the official website, social media channels, and media outlets Create original baseball content for digital platforms, including player features, highlights, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage Compile statistical packets for media members Assist with the operation and execution of all events at HomeTrust Park Support ballpark operations as needed, including physical tasks such as tarp pulls, cleanup, and game-day preparation during inclement weather Perform additional duties as assigned Applicants must provide:Cover Letter Broadcasting Highlight Reel Full Nine-Inning Broadcast Sample Writing Sample Start Date: May 26, 2026End Date: September 11, 2026 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
