Responsibilities:Cultivate, coordinate, and solicit Athletic Annual Fund donations through outbound calls and face to face meetings with current and prospective Husky Athletic Annual Fund donors. benefits and opportunities. Meet and exceed monthly and annual goals by identifying prospective donors from any source and providing a favorable environment for donors to start, maintain and/or increase contributions to the Annual Athletic Fund. Manage and build meaningful relationships to connect prospects and donors to UConn Athletics. Serve as primary point of contact for donors to Athletics Department. Represent UConn Athletics and the Husky Athletic Fund with professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail, while being a creative problem solver. Work games and other key donor events as needed. Build superior internal relationships with the UConn Athletics Department. duties as assigned by the General Manager (GM)/Director of Annual Fund. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Sports Marketing or a related field. Comfort with making outbound phone calls in a professional and friendly manner. Able to identify, understand, and mitigate any issue(s) found to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Proven history in building long term, meaningful relationships with clients and prospects. Experience and proven success in a fundraising or ticket sales role. Strong drive to learn the sales process and grow your career rapidly. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, integrity, communication skills, and desire & ability to learn in a fast paced, highly competitive industry.
