Rays Security Officer (Night Shift)

Reports To: Manager, Stadium SecurityDepartment: Security/OperationsLocation(s): Tropicana Field, Al Lang Stadum - St. experience by ensuring a safe and secure environment, patrolling stadium spaces and grounds, controlling access, and reporting issues of concern. Duties:· Control access at entry points· Patrol stadium grounds, buildings and other assigned areas· Respond to incidents and emergencies following established protocols· Monitor CCTV and other security technology· Ensure security program requirements are achieved at your assigned fixed or mobile security post during your shift· Conduct routine safety and inspections as assigned to identify hazards· Coordinate with public safety officials when appropriate· Complete reports, log activities, and other assigned administrative duties· Assist with operational needs of the stadium and other departments· Provide courteous and friendly service to all employees and guests· Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information Position Qualifications:· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Strong observation skills and attention to detail· Ability to remain composed while under pressure and de-escalate· Willingness to enhance a professional work environment with safety and security · Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and flexible in a constantly changing and dynamic work environment· Ability to work in a team environment Physical Demands and Environment:· This position is an overnight shift (12am - 8am Monday-Sunday)· This position often requires standing and walking· This position is generally located both indoors and outdoors· Stadium events are often noisy and crowded· This position is year-round, shift work including evening, overnight and weekend shiftsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
