    Position SummaryThe Director of Youth will lead Bay FC’s youth strategy, integrating the technical, operational, and cultural elements of the club’s development system. RESPONSIBILITIES Program Leadership & Strategy Define and own Bay FC's youth development strategy, aligning all programs with the club’s technical philosophy and long-term vision. requirements, enabling Bay FC to consistently develop players who are fully prepared and eligible for first-team integration. education initiatives and provide ongoing professional development aligned with modern trends in talent development. Serve as a technical leader and role model across all youth and affiliate programs. Talent Identification & Recruitment Provide strategic direction for Bay FC’s youth scouting model, ensuring alignment with the club’s recruitment philosophy and Bay Collective standards. Collaborate with the Head of Youth to ensure the scouting strategy is effectively implemented across all age groups. Build and maintain strong relationships with local clubs, schools, academies, and community organizations to broaden the talent pipeline. Oversee high-level succession planning by integrating scouting insights into long-term pathway and roster planning. Operations & Administration Oversee all day-to-day operations of Bay FC’s youth programs, including affiliates, camps, clinics and community initiatives. Develop and manage annual budgets, resource allocation, and program scaling. Oversee scheduling, facilities, travel, equipment, and logistics for training, matches, and events. Implement systems and processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and professional standards. Ensure compliance with NWSL, U. S. Requirements 7+ years of experience in youth development or academy management. experience in a professional, collegiate, or academy soccer environment. U. S. skills. Passion for player development and advancing opportunities for female athletes. Familiarity with NWSL, U. S. skills, and scope. Background Bay FC is the first NWSL team in the Bay Area.
