Maintains all equipment and gear related to the technical department to include, but not limited to, training, match, travel, and performance equipment, and other items. Manages all players receipt of team equipment, gear, and apparel and ensures that players have the required gear to participate in the team training and game environment. Works individually with each player to ensure proper fulfillment of their equipment needs. Identifies when certain equipment and gear may be required for individual players to better assist them in maintaining successful performance and maintaining high level safety standards. Ensure all team equipment is ready to be used each day before training and that it is properly maintained and stored following use. Responsible for ensuring all team equipment and gear is properly packed and available for team travel. Responsible for setting the game day locker room and ensuring that the locker provided during travel is properly set for player and team use. duties included, but are not limited to:Manages away game itineraries. Manages team flight manifest while team is traveling while working. Manages team hotel check in process, meeting rooms, team meals. Manages team bus transportation while on road. In all work performed in this role, the Equipment Manager must be able to pivot and maintain composure in stressful situations. Qualifications Include: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in sports management, sports administration, or other similar areas of academic accomplishment preferred. Minimum of 2 years in a team operations or equipment management role or with an equivalent background in soccer to quickly learn and adapt to the needs of the position. requirements based upon educational programs and specific experience. qualifications will be considered.
