Part-Time Operations Assistant

Summary: Reporting to the Academy Business Manager, the Operations Assistant will be a member of the Academy Staff and play a key role supporting the operational logistics for Right to Dream San Diego. Key Responsibilities:Planning and executing team and staff travel requirements, to include trialists, current student-athletes and their familiesAssisting with budget management and financial tracking ‘budget to actuals’Managing Performance Center visitors and communicationSchedule coordination and communication across key academy stakeholdersSupport the Head of Academy with executive tasks; schedule management, correspondence, and travel planningSupport the planning and execution of Academy events: home matches, scouting events, and other Academy activitiesOversee the SDFC 'Street Team' and other part-time staffQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree PreferredCertifications / knowledge of necessary software programs for business operations, financial management and record keepingExperience:3 years’ experience in team operations travel logistics and budget managementRelevant work experience in professional sports, university athletics department or sports clubKey Knowledge & Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsLanguage requirements - Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) or multi-lingual skills is a plus.
