What will I Do?You will work in an excellent new ballpark, with a great team, creating lasting memories for our guests and fans. The Media Content Intern is responsible for creating content for the Salt Lake Bees Social Media channels. This person would film content throughout a game day, working directly with the Social Media Manager. They would film on a camera as well as iPhone, while using templates to post throughout a Bees game day. The position will:Protect the moral, legal, and financial assets and wellbeing of the company. Exemplify the company values of Stewardship, Integrity, Hard Work, and ServiceStrive to achieve the company’s mission of Enriching Lives and the company’s vision of being the best place in town to work and do business. Attend pregame meetings as well as batting practice on certain game days. Shoot photo or video contentEdit live and send assets to social media coordinator. Use baseball knowledge enabling you to take certain shots throughout a game. experience at the ballpark. Assist with pregame, in game, and postgame social media content. Strategically come up with on-trend content that is timely in the sports world. Plan and execute videos and pictures with social media templates. Effectively communicate with team members. Assist with giveaways and outside events. Represent the Salt Lake Bees at off-site events throughout the year. Help with Sponsored Content from various Bees sponsors. To do this, our jobs demand reliability, positivity, and hard work. We believe you have what it takes to make a great impact! Attend a minimum of 75% of Bees home games and other community eventsPreference for those majoring or having graduated in a field related to sports communications, photography or videography. Passion for social media and thinking outside of the box when content creating. Ability to think quickly on your feet and operate in stressful situations. Passion for working within the sports industry. The ability to work a camera for photography and videography. Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments and align with organizational goals. At least 18 years of age. Ability to work well with other team members. Ability to be given a list of shots needed during a game and execute those tasks. What is the wage?The position pays $15/hour. Is this part-time or full-time?This is a seasonal (March - September) Part-time position.
