Category: RetailLocation: Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate the successful placement of new hires and rehires from orientation to location training through effective communication with the Retail Management, Human Resources and the Team Member. ResponsibilitiesPromotes Guest First Standards, Total Safety Culture and Park / Departmental policies and proceduresMotivates and maintains employees. Follows disciplinary guidelines and administers corrective action when necessary at the discretion of management. Communicates with Area Management and Managers / Director daily to ensure all staffing related issues are resolved quickly and appropriately. Provides reporting to management to help maintain division certifications (and are kept up to date)Provide weekly staffing reports to managementCompletes random audits to ensure TABC and all other policies/procedures are being followedConducts initial Food Service OrientationUnderstands and completes all required paperwork Ensures proper paperwork for all team members are maintained throughout the seasonCreates, co-ordinates and reviews departmental employee surveysHelps to establish and update departmental required staff numbers and communicates such to HR on a weekly basisFacilitates various retail trainingsAcquires and maintains certifications as an instructorQualificationsRequires excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a demanding, fast paced environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule that including nights, holidays and weekends. Must be detail oriented, highly motivated and a self starterHigh School Diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of ageStrong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPointMust be able to acquire and maintain TDH Sanitation and TABC certificationsPrevious experience in Food Service, Merchandise, or Games a PlusA strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitudeWillingness to cross train into other departments and work in such departments as needed during short staffing periods.
