The Vice President, Technology Product & Solutions is a business-focused leader who translates strategy into a clear technology product roadmap and operating model so teams deliver measurable value. The role leads product management and business enablement—setting direction, prioritizing investments, and ensuring cross-functional delivery across revenue, marketing, stadium, and operational initiatives. The VP also oversees the Enterprise Data team, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data and software capabilities that power analytics, integrations, and mission-critical applications, and unites product and data teams to drive end-to-end accountability from defining the “why” and “what” to delivering the “how.”As a solutions architect and strategic business partner, the VP defines how to deliver technical capabilities by leveraging existing platforms, selecting new platforms when needed, building fit-for-purpose solutions, and integrating systems into a cohesive, scalable ecosystem. In partnership with business leaders, the VP identifies and scales AI-enabled opportunities that improve efficiency and decision-making—prioritizing high-value use cases, operationalizing them through products and process change, and ensuring responsible implementation with appropriate governance, security, and data stewardship.
Reporting to the CIO, this leader builds high-performing teams and partnerships, strengthens governance and delivery discipline, and fosters continuous improvement and customer-focused innovation. The role supports day-to-day delivery and operations while evolving product practices, delivery standards, and the underlying data and software platforms to ensure performance, scalability, and security. In close partnership with business, technology, and security leaders, the VP aligns priorities, removes obstacles, and drives platform and integration decisions that improve time-to-value, enable AI and automation at scale, and ensure data is trusted, governed, and usable across the enterprise.
This position is primarily based in Atlanta, GA, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with work at other Metro Atlanta locations as needed. Must be able to carry a cell phone and respond quickly to occasional requests for critical assistance. Working events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium is required on an operational rotation. Occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities & QualificationsServe as a solutions architect and platform strategist: Partner with business leaders to determine when to use existing platforms, introduce new capabilities, or integrate systems—ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, integration patterns, security requirements, and long‑term scalability.
Lead transformation and change management: Drive adoption of new platforms, products, and ways of working (including AI-enabled workflows) through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, training, and measurable outcomes.
Deliver digital capabilities through productized solutions: Guide the build/buy/partner approach for fan-facing and internal tools, ensuring solutions are maintainable, well-adopted, and tied to clear business value.
Advance analytics and emerging technology innovation: Champion a culture of data-informed decision-making by enabling self-service insights, defining meaningful KPIs, and evaluating emerging technologies (including AI where appropriate) to improve customer experience, operations, and time-to-value.
Scale AI and automation where it creates clear value: Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-enabled solutions (with appropriate governance) and other automation opportunities that streamline workflows, improve service, and enhance decision-making.
Lead product & business enablement teams: Set vision and operating model for product owners, business enablement managers, and project managers, collaborating with business and technology leaders to shape and maintain outcome‑driven product roadmaps that deliver measurable business results.
Own portfolio, roadmap, and delivery discipline: Establish intake, prioritization, and governance; align investments to strategy; and ensure predictable, transparent delivery across cross-functional teams.
Oversee data operations, reliability, and data products: Ensure stable pipelines and platforms through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement, and deliver trusted datasets that enable analytics, automation, and reporting.
Drive enterprise integration and vendor partnerships: Oversee key third-party relationships and integrations; define API/integration patterns; and ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and support end-to-end business processes.
Own product‑level consent and privacy implementation: Ensure privacy‑by‑design standards, consent language, preference centers, cookie and tracker management, and enforcement across CDP, CRM, ESP, ticketing, and downstream platforms are accurate, harmonized, and compliant with leagues and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliant handling of personal data across the product lifecycle: Require PIAs for new products and integrations, enable automated DSAR workflows, hold vendors accountable to privacy standards, maintain audit documentation, and serve as the executive escalation point when delivery timelines conflict with consent or compliance obligations.
Establish data governance and quality standards: Define policies, stewardship, and controls to ensure accuracy, privacy, and secure access, enabling consistent measurement and trustworthy insights across the organization.
Develop people and strengthen product, data, and delivery capabilities: Coach leaders and teams, build modern practices (product management, agile delivery, data engineering), and foster a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Bring technical depth in software development and data engineering: Able to engage at the architecture level, guide modern engineering practices, and translate technical tradeoffs for business audiences.
Demonstrate responsible AI/automation leadership: Experience moving from use-case identification to scaled adoption with appropriate governance, security, privacy, and impact measurement.
Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
