The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Water Polo Coach. Responsibilities and duties are as follows: planning, development and administration of all phases of the women’s water polo program, including preparation and management of the budget, practice and game scheduling, travel arrangements and cost management, procurement of supplies/equipment, recruitment and selection of student-athletes and managers, interaction with support services and involvement in appropriate public relations/fundraising and promotional activities. qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience & training; Must possess and maintain current certifications in first aid, CPR, and AED use with proof of certifications provided within 30 days after employment; Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and a record of compliance in this area, fiscal management, effective communication skills with student-athletes, administrators, peers and the general public; 5-8 years demonstrated coaching experience at the Division I level and ability to select, recruit and train elite water polo athletes. benefits package.
