What You'll DoHospitality & Guest ExperienceHelp create a welcoming, energetic, and community-focused atmosphere for guests and team members. Lead daily front-of-house operations with a strong focus on hospitality, consistency, and genuine guest engagement. Ensure every guest receives friendly, attentive, and memorable service. Actively engage with guests, resolve concerns professionally, and build relationships with regular patrons. Team Leadership & CultureLead, coach, and develop front-of-house team members. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling the FOH team. Foster a positive workplace built on accountability, communication, teamwork, and mutual respect. Lead by example during service by maintaining professionalism, urgency, and a guest-first mindset. Encourage staff growth and participation in community and team-building initiatives. Operations & Service ExecutionSupport day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service execution. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, appearance, and operational readiness. Work closely with culinary and bar leadership to ensure food and beverage quality standards are consistently met. Monitor labor, service flow, and staffing levels to support both guest experience and operational goals. Assist with private events, catering coordination, and gameday or high-volume operations as needed. Community & Brand ExperienceSupport partnerships with local businesses, farms, vendors, and community organizations. Help create an environment that celebrates local connections, hospitality, and community involvement. Contribute ideas that enhance guest engagement, team culture, and the overall restaurant experience. What We're Looking ForQualificationsPrevious leadership experience in a restaurant, hospitality, sports entertainment, or high-volume service environment Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and solve problems effectively Commitment to consistency, professionalism, and operational excellence Experience with scheduling, labor management, and restaurant operations preferred Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and event-based operations Must pass a criminal background checkMaintain a valid NC driver's license and acceptable driving recordPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and carrying up to 30 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality environment Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events Why The LocalAt The Local, we are committed to more than great food and drinks — we are building a place where guests feel at home, teams feel valued, and community connections thrive.
