SUMMARY: This position performs a multitude of physical tasks for general and specialized cleaning of the Albany Capital Center. RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean all areas of the Facility including, but not limited to, floors, bathrooms, walls, windows, offices, stairs, seating areas, ramps and walkways located inside and outside. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated ability to perform various physical tasks; knowledge of cleaning and custodial methods and techniques including the use of chemicals and equipment. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning and custodial methods. Ability to perform physical labor and operate mechanical equipment. Ability to access all areas of the Facilities. The ability to handle a heavy workload in a hectic environment. Requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
