This is your opportunity to help build a new kind of daily USC-specific content channel with the #1 Sports Podcast Network. The Locked On Podcast Network is creating a new USC Trojans content channel built for modern college sports fans across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, YouTube, and audio platforms. We are looking for a dynamic, entertaining, credible host who can deliver smart, fast-moving USC content every day — both short-form vertical video and quick daily episodes. This role is designed for a modern sports content creator: someone who understands USC, knows how Trojans fans talk, can deliver strong takes with personality, and has the on-camera presence to make people stop scrolling. About the RoleThis is a high-volume, daily content position built around the USC Trojans. The host will create USC-specific content every day across short-form vertical video, YouTube, and audio. We are looking for someone who can react quickly, explain why stories matter, deliver strong opinions, and create content that feels current, credible, entertaining, and built for the way fans consume sports today. Key ResponsibilitiesHost and produce four short-form videos per day, approximately 90 seconds to two minutes each, built specifically for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. Deliver fast, sharp, engaging USC-specific takes designed for the vertical-video scroll. Host and produce two 5- to 6-minute episodes per day for YouTube and audio distribution with clear structure, strong pacing, and fan-focused insight. React quickly to USC’s biggest stories of the day with energy, credibility, preparation, and personality. Cover major USC topics, including football, recruiting, roster moves, injuries, the transfer portal, coaching decisions, Big Ten storylines, College Football Playoff discussion, rivalry games, national narratives, and major Trojans athletics news. Help build and grow an engaged USC community across social, video, and audio platforms. Create content that is informative, entertaining, opinionated, and built for daily fan engagement. Take ownership of the full content workflow, including recording, editing, producing, posting, and promoting content consistently across platforms. Volume: 2 per dayLength: Approximately 5 to 6 minutes eachPlatforms: YouTube and audio via its own RSS feedQualificationsElite knowledge of the USC Trojans. Ability to connect authentically with USC fans. Ability to edit and produce high-quality video. Access to and experience with video editing tools. Solid understanding of how TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, and YouTube operate. Experience creating short-form video content. Audio equipment and editing software to record and produce an audio podcast. Ability to deliver strong opinions with credibility, preparation, and personality. Reliability and consistency to produce a high-volume daily content schedule. Strong understanding of USC football, recruiting, the transfer portal, the Big Ten, major rivalries, and the year-round conversation around the Trojans. Ideal CandidateThe ideal host is part analyst, part entertainer, and part influencer. You understand USC, but you also understand how fans consume content today. You can make a strong point quickly, speak with confidence, bring personality to the screen, and create content that feels current, authentic, and built for the platforms where fans are already spending their time. You do not need to sound like a traditional broadcaster. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted daily voice for USC fans by being smart, prepared, energetic, relatable, and highly watchable. The right candidate should understand what makes USC fans passionate: the tradition, the expectations, the rivalries, the Coliseum, recruiting battles, the move into the Big Ten, College Football Playoff expectations, the Notre Dame rivalry, UCLA week, national media attention, and the year-round intensity of being a Trojans fan. We want someone who can combine real college football knowledge with modern content instincts. You should be able to react quickly, explain why a story matters, give fans a clear point of view, and create content that feels connected to the daily conversation around USC athletics.
