Job Description
The Tahoe Knight Monsters are seeking a creative, motivated, and passionate Graphic Design Intern for the 2026-27 season.
OverviewThe Graphic Design Intern will assist in creating digital and print graphics for the Knight Monsters. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and heavily involved in game-day entertainment, social media, marketing campaigns, and fan engagement. This is an in-office position based in Tahoe and includes required game-day availability for nights, weekends, and special events.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator (knowledge of After Effects and Premier are a plus)Knowledge of sports design trends and social media content stylesStrong understanding of typography, layout, and brandingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work nights, weekends, and game daysBasic motion graphics or video editing experience is a plusPortfolio or samples of previous design work requiredAs a Graphic Design Intern, Your Responsibilities May Include:Design graphics for social media, video boards, marketing campaigns, promotions, and sponsorship activationsAssist with game-day creative needsCreate player graphics, hype graphics, score updates, promotional materials, and themed-night brandingSupport the marketing and creative teams with content ideation and executionEdit and resize graphics for multiple platforms and formatsHelp maintain brand consistency across all creative materialsCapture and organize creative assets during games and events when neededInternship Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field Housing and transportation in Tahoe/ Reno or the surrounding area Availability to work home games, select road games, and designated office hours Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality creative standards Compensation: This is a non-paid internship.
