POSITION SUMMARY:The Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of various facilities of the venue. responsibilitiesServe as MOD on nights and weekends as assignedAll other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree in facility management, recreation, sports management or related field and minimum of three years appropriate experience, or the equivalent combination of education & experience is requiredPrior experience with managing various facilities, set-up and tear-down, scheduling employees, maintaining grounds, etc. Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skillsMust be a team playerMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours)Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of timeMust posses current Certified Pool and Spa Operator certification or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of time upon hireMust possess a current Forklift Operator certification or must be willing to obtain one within a specified period of time upon hireWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noise
