experience and ensuring promotional programs are seamlessly integrated throughout the ballpark. In addition, this role is accountable for booking and managing talent in event spaces across the ballpark. Finally, this incumbent will support the planning, development, and execution of Jays Care Foundation’s fundraising events portfolio where they will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of an annual events fundraising target exceeding $2.4 million.
Key ResponsibilitiesPromotions & ExperienceSupport the planning, coordination, and game‑day execution of promotions, theme days, and fan activations to deliver a seamless, high‑quality in‑game and ballpark experienceLead cross‑functional coordination with internal teams (Game Entertainment, Communications, Production, Retail, etc.) and external vendors to execute promotional initiatives on time and on brandOversee operational planning for assigned promotional games and theme days, including timelines, logistics, inventory, run‑of‑show inputs, and post‑event recapsManage vendor sourcing and logistics, including budgets, quotes, production timelines, on‑site execution, and invoice processingSupport in managing all live entertainment programming throughout the Outfield District and Premium Clubs and ensuring all performers align with the identify of each space, as well as any applicable promotions or theme days.
Support in the evaluation and elevation of the end-to-end guest experience across all areas of the ballpark, from the Outfield District to the Premium Clubs to ensure standards are upheldAlongside the Manager, Giveaways & Promotions Programming, support the execution of Jr.
requirementsOversee all event operations, including project workbacks, logistics, production, auction strategy, run of show, and on‑site executionProvide on‑site leadership to drive seamless execution, manage stakeholders and hosts, and resolve real‑time issuesEnsure consistent execution quality across all events, aligning guest services, communications, ticketing, accommodations, and gifting with brand and service standardsAct as the primary decision-maker across all event delivery domains including scope, budget, vendors, timelines, and risk, making informed decisions and trade-offs to balance cost, experience, and revenue outcomes, ensuring successful event delivery.
Escalate decisions to the Sr.
Experience when required, including those that impact revenue targets, budget, brand, reputation, or safety.
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect event outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications Completed University or College education in related fieldMinimum 3-5 years event planning, fundraising, or partnership experience from public and/or not-for-profit sectorExperience managing complex events and multiple projects concurrentlyUnderstanding of and passion for the game of baseball and Toronto Blue JaysProficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Salesforce fundraising software an assetLeadership abilities to manage and mentor team membersPolished written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills with keen eye for attention to detailsCreativity and willingness to share ideasStrong problem-solving skills and confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to service excellence and customer satisfactionTeam player with an ability to support the big picture goals of the organization while contributing to day-to-day executionAll candidates must be available for all Blue Jays home games, with the ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays throughout the year, as required.
Salary: The anticipated base compensation range for this role is $70,000 – $75,000.
