BASEBALLINSTRUCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform skill-specific instruction in our facilities and at fields in and around the communityDeliver age and ability-appropriate instruction to athletes in the team, camp/clinic, small group, and 1-on-1 settingsFoster meaningful relationships with players, parents and coaches in the communityAssist in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of equipment for training programs and eventsAttend staff meetings, instructor meetings, and company events, as neededPOSITION REQUIREMENTSIn-depth knowledge of BaseballVerifiable Baseball playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate and/or professional levelCurrent or recent experience as an instructor preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsPhysical ability to set up, breakdown, and move equipmentWillingness and ability to support all areas of instructionENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & TRAVELProlonged periods of standing and walking throughout facilities is requiredEnvironments include, but are not limited to, outdoor spaces, sports facilities, recreation fields/parks, remote locations, and office spacesFrequent local travel for programs run in surrounding communitiesPERKS OF THE JOBFast-paced and exciting work environment with a sports-minded group of colleaguesMultiple levels of compensation opportunitiesOpportunities to support events at MLB/ MiLB stadiums and MLB-branded eventsThe company covers airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, and hourly payWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
