Producer of New & Creative Media, reporting to the Executive Associate Athletics Director – Brand Strategy and Creative Solutions and in coordination with all University of South Carolina athletics teams, responsibilities include but are not limited to the management and production of creative assets including short and long form video, photos, graphics and other collateral to be used for recruiting prospective student-athletes to the University, as well as internally for the benefit of athletics teams.
Produce and share content that follows the voice, tone and messaging of USC Athletics. Manage and assist in the coordination of a detailed, ever-changing, content schedule. Proactively create content that helps increase USC’s audience, drives interactions with the Gamecock brand and increases reach and impact.
Create, produce, shoot and edit a variety of content for both a wide and targeted audience, including the development and production of content geared towards specific recruits. Format video content for a variety of digital platforms including social media outlets, in-venue broadcast, mobile devices and television broadcast.
Work closely with student interns to help develop their skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of digital media and its use in collegiate athletics strongly preferred.
