ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all aspects of the conversion process for events. duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met, including, but not limited to, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies Assist with pre/post event cleaning, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, and carpet cleaning as needed. Maintain outside grounds, including parking areas, the garage, entrances, and the event plaza. QualificationsPrevious experience with event changeovers is a plus. Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power equipment desired. Ability to work under deadlines dictated by event schedules and project timetables. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form. Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays as required. Able to work extensive time in areas with moderate to loud noises. Frequent bending, lifting heavy objects, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, standing for long periods of time, and extensive walking through the building. Work boots are required and provided by the employee for all shifts. The arena will supply hard hats that are required at designated times on an event day.
