Lead Steward - Part-TimeTrail Drive Management Corporation Properties:Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC) is a not-for-profit venue management company in Fort Worth, Texas. TDMC manages all aspects of venue management, including but not limited to event booking, event management, marketing, IT, technical services, food & beverage, parking, security, housekeeping, changeover, maintenance, and more. TDMC manages several venues in Fort Worth, TX.
Job Summary:Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a part-time Culinary Lead Steward. This position is responsible for assisting with the supervision of dishwashing staff working throughout all kitchens, as well as ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are always maintained.
This position will be 100% onsite.
Essential Job Functions:Assist culinary leadership with the oversight of dishwashing-related on-the-job training/efforts of stewarding team membersAssist culinary leadership with ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are always maintained in the dishwashing areasEnsure that the dishwashing staff is working effectively and efficientlyOversee and execute multiple projects in a timely mannerWork in all unique kitchen stations/ locationsMaintain the organization and inventory levels of all chemicals and cleaning supplies, including the proper storage of mops, brooms, etc.
Ensure clean wares and dishware are stored and maintained appropriatelyOperate and maintain all cleaning-related equipment, including tools, dishwashing machines, handwashing stations, pot-scrubbing stations, etc.
Oversee all station set-up and breakdown responsibilitiesSupport the organization, storage, and perpetual inventory of all smallwares and equipmentWork closely with all F&B departments to ensure proper acquisition, set-up, and return of smallwares and equipment as needed throughout the operationSupport culinary operations and counterparts as needed throughout the operationWork in culinary preparation and pantry spaces throughout the arenaHave a full understanding of temperature controls and the proper equipment to monitor temperature through filling out daily Time and Temperature logs for your stationPractice proper work procedures, safety, and sanitation standards, especially as it pertains to the use of equipmentReport any injury, accident, and/or food-borne illness incident (customers and/or staff) accurately and in a timely manner to the culinary management teamPerform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Working Conditions:Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
Employees may be exposed to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat from ovens, burners, steam, trays, etc.
Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
Employees may be exposed to hazardous chemicals or fumes throughout the shift.
