Responsibilities:Works with operations on productions - setting up, breaking down and fixing cameras, cables, and switchers. Establishing and maintaining transmission links. Coordinates repair of equipment with outside vendors. Documents and maintains equipment maintenance history database and generates status reports for both users and supervisors. Fabricates cables and small part modifications. Maintains equipment center and repair workshop, spare parts inventory, tools, and storage areas. Assess and recommend appropriate solutions including vendor repair, in-house repair or equipment replacement. Routinely review broadcast equipment, software, workstations, and develop and carry out regular maintenance schedule that will reduce damage and loss due to everyday wear and tear. duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements:Associates or Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience in related area. skills that allow for working with individuals of varying levels of familiarity with these systems. There is some lifting of equipment (up to 50 lbs.) required of this position. Work on ladders, under raised floors and in the presence of electronics will be required. Forklift certification a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed given the nature of the sports and entertainment business.
