    ABOUT US The North Carolina Courage, a member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), is seeking a HRBP to join the People team. This role blends business partnership with execution—working closely with managers to address employee-related matters while also ensuring HR systems, processes, and programs run effectively. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing people support with operational ownership in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Partnership & Employee RelationsServe as a trusted partner to department leaders across front office and technical staffProvide guidance on performance management, employee concerns, and team dynamicsSupport and manage employee relations issues, including coaching managers and documenting outcomesEscalate complex or high-risk issues to the Chief People OfficerHR Operations & SystemsOwn day-to-day management of RipplingMaintain accurate employee data and organizational structuresBuild and improve workflows (onboarding, approvals, employee changes)Ensure HR processes are consistent, documented, and scalable Performance Management & Talent ProcessesSupport the execution of performance review cycles and manager enablementAssist in maintaining performance frameworks (e. requirementsMaintain employee documentation and support policy implementationPromote consistent application of HR policies across the organizationCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs and workforce planningCollaborate with Workplace Experience Manager to support culture and communicationProvide HR support to leadership as needed QUALIFICATIONS: 3–6 years of experience in HR generalist or HRBP rolesSports experience preferredExperience handling employee relations and supporting managersStrong understanding of HR operations and systems (Rippling experience preferred)Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsHands-on, execution-oriented mindsetOUR VALUES We hire through the lens of our Club Values: Integrity – Transparent, trustworthy relationships with our fans and ourselves.
