Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet all guests, boarders, trainers, and visitors in a warm, professional, and service-oriented mannerAnswer and manage a high volume of incoming calls, directing inquiries efficiently and accuratelyServe as a central point of contact for walk-ins, providing information, direction, and supportMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment at all timesRespond to general inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactionsCoordinate communication between departments to ensure timely resolution of questions and requestsProvide administrative support across all departments, including filing, data entry, and document management, as needed. Support onboarding processes for new boarders and visitors by providing forms, guidance, and general informationMaintain accurate logs, records, and front desk documentationEscalate issues or concerns to the appropriate team members as neededUphold LAEC standards of hospitality, professionalism, and community engagementSkillsStrong customer service and hospitality mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional demeanor and presentationAbility to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; ability to learn internal systems)QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredLanguageEnglish required; bilingual (Spanish) is a plusCertificationsNone requiredWork Experience1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, hospitality, or customer-facing role preferredInterest in or familiarity with equestrian environments is a plusEducation and/or ExperiencePrevious experience in a high-volume customer service or hospitality environment strongly preferredExperience working in a fast-paced, multi-departmental operation is a plusDemonstrated ability to provide exceptional service while maintaining organization and efficiencyNOTE:The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above. duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
