We are looking for talented creatives to help bring our tournaments and athletes to life through high-quality visual storytelling. Role OverviewWe are seeking freelance videographers and photographers to capture high-energy content at our weekend basketball tournaments. This role is ideal for someone who understands sports, can move quickly in a live environment, and can deliver content that feels authentic, dynamic, and social-first. Key ResponsibilitiesCapture photo and video content across tournament weekends (games, players, crowd, environment). Execute against a provided shot list and content brief. Identify and capture organic, high-impact moments beyond the shot sheet. Edit and deliver content within a defined turnaround window (same-day or post-event depending on needs). Collaborate with the MADE Hoops team onsite and remotely. Ensure content aligns with brand style and social media needs. Content ExpectationsGame action (high-intensity plays, key moments). Player-focused content (portraits, reactions, highlights). Lifestyle and behind-the-scenes footage. Social-first vertical video (Reels, TikTok). Quick-turn edits for social and recap content. QualificationsExperience shooting sports (basketball strongly preferred). Strong understanding of motion, lighting, and live-action environments. Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Lightroom, etc.). Own equipment (camera, lenses, stabilization, etc.). Sony A7iv for photo or equivalent. Sony A7siii for video or equivalent. Reliable transportation to tournament locations. For video: Comfortable shooting in Slog3 Video Profile. PreferredExperience creating content for social media brands. Ability to deliver quick-turn edits onsite or same-day. Familiarity with youth basketball or grassroots sports. CompensationFlat fee per tournament weekend (rate varies by event and scope). Opportunity for consistent, ongoing work across multiple regions.
