Job Description
Position OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and results-driven Ticket Sales Representative to join our sales team as Dallas' newest professional sports team continues to builds its fanbase. You will be responsible for driving season ticket sales, group packages, single night suite sales and single-game ticket revenue through proactive outbound sales, relationship building, and exceptional customer service that creates lifelong fans.
Key ResponsibilitiesSeason Ticket Sales & Account ManagementGenerate new season ticket sales through cold calling, email campaigns, and face-to- face meetings with prospective customersConduct compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition ofwomen & professional volleyball and game day experienceBuild and maintain relationships with season ticket holders to ensure renewal rates and account growth opportunitiesDevelop customized ticket packages that meet specific customer needs and budget requirementsFollow up on all leads generated through marketing campaigns, community events, and referral programsMaintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and sales activities in CRM system (Hubspot)Group Sales & Community OutreachIdentify and pursue group sales opportunities including corporate outings, youth volleyball teams, schools, and community organizationsDevelop relationships with local businesses, sports leagues, and community groups to drive bulk ticket salesCreate compelling group packages with added value elements such as pre-game activities, player meet-and-greets, and exclusive experiencesCoordinate group sales logistics including seating arrangements, hospitality needs, and special requestsRepresent the team at community events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and build brand awarenessPartner with youth volleyball programs and clubs throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area to develop pipeline opportunitiesRevenue Generation & Customer ExperienceAchieve and exceed monthly and seasonal sales targets for season tickets, group sales, and premium experiencesUpsell customers to higher-value seating locations and package options through consultative sales approachDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate key market segments including families, young professionals, and sports enthusiastsProcess ticket orders, handle payment arrangements, and ensure seamless customer onboarding experienceCoordinate with marketing team to maximize conversion of leads generated through digital campaigns and community outreachProvide exceptional customer service that transforms first-time buyers into loyal season ticket holdersDatabase Management & Sales OperationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in ticketing and CRM systemsConduct regular follow-up calls and check-ins with prospects at various stages of the sales cyclePrepare and deliver sales reports including pipeline updates, conversion rates, and revenue projectionsCollaborate with VP of Ticket Sales on territory management and account assignment strategiesSupport game day sales operations including will-call assistance and on-site customer serviceParticipate in sales team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledgeMarket Development & Relationship BuildingResearch and identify potential new market segments and customer demographics specific to Dallas volleyball communityBuild referral networks with local sports retailers, fitness centers, and volleyball facilitiesDevelop relationships with corporate decision-makers for employee appreciation and client entertainment opportunitiesCreate authentic connections with customers that extend beyond transactional relationshipsGather customer feedback and market insights to inform pricing strategies and package developmentSupport special promotional campaigns and flash sales to drive urgency and immediate revenueRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and sales experience1-2 years of proven sales experience with track record of meeting or exceeding targetsStrong communication skills with ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customer baseExperience with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and sales database managementComfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and consultative sales techniquesKnowledge of Dallas-Fort Worth market and local business community preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and community eventsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in sports ticket sales or sports/entertainment industryBackground in volleyball or women's sports with understanding of fan demographicsBilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) to effectively serve diverse Dallas marketExperience with group sales, corporate sales, or B2B relationship developmentExisting network within Dallas sports, business, or volleyball communitiesCustomer service experience Location & ExpectationsPosition based in Dallas, Texas with significant time spent in the field meeting with prospects and attending community events throughout the DFW metroplex. Evening and weekend availability required for games, community events, and client entertainment. Some travel may be required for league events.
