ResponsibilitiesPromote Charlotte FC at various events throughout the year, including fairs, festivals, sporting events, parades, and more. Assist in the execution of matchday and non-matchday internal events. Interact with avid, casual, and new fans to educate/inform the community of important Charlotte FC messages (specific promotions, ticket updates/offers, team information, etc.)Responsible for setup and breakdown of events. Create a fun, loud, and positive atmosphere at events by interacting with fans, distributing giveaways, and encouraging fans to support the team. On-site support for execution of community and grassroots activations and Charlotte FC-led events. Additional related duties as assigned. SkillsApplicants must currently reside in the Carolinas, preferably near major metro areas or be willing to commute. Strong interpersonal and communication skillsOutgoing and engaging personalityKnowledge of Major League Soccer, specifically Charlotte FCPunctual, professional and mature demeanorMust have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportationMust be a team playerSpanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThis position operates in a professional office environment and outside in a stadium facility. Local travel to events may be required. This position works no more than 30 hours per week. Must be able and willing to work in all Charlotte FC home matches. Must be able and willing to work a minimum of one Crown Crew shift per month, including Charlotte FC home matches, grassroots activations and Charlotte FC-led events. Must be able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Ability to remain standing/walking for 8 to 10 hours. Ability to climb stairs.
