OverviewThe Charlotte FC Academy vision is to provide a high-performance environment for the most talented, high-potential young soccer players from across the Carolinas and across the country. Responsibilities• Observe and review the academy coaches’ training• Provide detailed feedback based on observations in line with the club’s methodology• Ensure a clear pathway for High Potential Players (HPP)• Manage HPP Transition Plans• Contribute to all aspects of academy management• Check for staff understanding of the club’s Game Model• Take the lead role in planning and delivering coaches’ education meetings• Create, in collaboration with the Technical Director, Coaches’ Individual Development Plans• Contact person for coaches to periodize coaching blocks• Assess staff coaching of games, including pregame, in-game, halftime, and post-match analysis. QualificationsUSSF A License or EquivalentAt least 8 years of progressive leadership experience at the Academy, collegiate or professional levelAvailability to work in non-traditional settings, and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as necessaryMust have a valid US Driver’s LicenseMust pass pre-employment screens Skills for SuccessExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders and personalitiesTeam management skills including dynamic interpersonal skills and approachable personalityWorks well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitudeMust be a reliable team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Local travel to events may be required. This position typically works approximately 40 hours per week. Must be able to attend Academy training sessions and matches as necessaryMust be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
