Marketing Analytics InternFlorida Everblades & Hertz ArenaLocation: Estero, FL (n-Person Preferred)Semester: Fall / Spring / Summer (Flexible)Hours: 15–25 hours per week (Flexible)Position OverviewThe Florida Everblades and Hertz Arena are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Analytics Intern to support data-driven marketing, fan engagement, partnership marketing performance, and revenue optimization initiatives across professional sports and live entertainment.

The intern will gain practical experience working with industry-leading analytics, CRM, digital marketing, fundraising, and partnership activation measurement platforms while collaborating with the marketing, ticketing, partnerships, and community relations teams.
Learning ObjectivesBy the completion of this internship, the student will:Develop a working knowledge of marketing analytics in professional sports and live eventsLearn how data informs fan acquisition, retention, sponsorship value, and revenue strategiesGain hands-on experience with industry-standard marketing, CRM, fundraising, and partnership analytics platformsUnderstand how partnership assets are measured, reported, and optimizedBuild analytical, reporting, and presentation skills applicable to sports, entertainment, and marketing careersKey ResponsibilitiesAssist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting fan, customer, and partner-related data across ticketing, digital, CRM, auction, and partnership platformsSupport performance tracking and reporting for ticket sales, promotions, digital campaigns, charitable initiatives, and corporate partnership activationsHelp maintain and segment fan and partner databases to support targeted marketing and sponsorship initiativesAnalyze email, social, paid media, auction, and partnership marketing performance metrics (impressions, engagement, lead generation, and conversion)Assist in post-event, post-campaign, and post-activation partnership recap reportsSupport data hygiene, tagging, and attribution best practices across marketing and partnership assetsCollaborate with marketing, ticketing, partnerships, and community relations teams on analytics-driven projects and insightsPlatforms & Tools (Training Provided)The intern will receive hands-on training and experience using:Stellar Algo – fan data, segmentation, and predictive analyticsMeta Business Suite – social and paid media analyticsFannex – fan engagement and CRM insightsVozzi – consumer data and behavioral analyticsMailchimp – email marketing and performance analyticsDash Auction – digital auction, fundraising, and donor engagement analyticsInternal partnership tracking and reporting tools used to measure sponsorship and activation performanceQualificationsCurrently enrolled in an accredited college or universityEligible to receive academic credit for an internshipMajoring in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related fieldStrong interest in sports, live entertainment, and data-driven marketing and sponsorshipProficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; basic data analysis skills preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to communicate insights clearly, professionally, and visuallyBenefits & ExperienceReal-world experience with a professional hockey organization and major live entertainment venueExposure to marketing, CRM, fundraising, and partnership marketing analytics in professional sportsMentorship from experienced sports marketing and partnerships professionalsPortfolio-worthy analytics, dashboards, and recap reportsNetworking opportunities within the sports, sponsorship, and live events industryWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
