Gameday Digital Media InternPosition OverviewThe Des Moines Buccaneers are seeking a creative and energetic Gameday Digital Media Intern to assist with content creation during home games throughout the season. experience to life across social media platforms. Responsibilities• Capture photo and video content during Buccaneers home games, including:o On-ice actiono Fan experienceso In-game promotions and entertainmento Sponsor activationso Theme nights and special eventso Behind-the-scenes moments• Identify and capture social-first content opportunities in real time.• Work alongside the Digital Media Coordinator to execute game day content plans.• Assist with gathering content for Instagram Stories, Reels, TikTok, X, Facebook, and other digital platforms.• Help ensure key game moments, fan interactions, and promotional activities are documented.• Organize and upload content following games as needed.• Contribute creative ideas for game day content and fan engagement. Qualifications• Currently enrolled in a college or university program majoring in sports media, communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, or a related field. skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work independently while taking initiative to identify content opportunities.• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team. Preferred Skills• Basic knowledge of social media trends and short-form content. Experience with sports content production.• Knowledge of hockey is not required, but is a plus.• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar editing software.
