Job Description
Position DescriptionReporting to the Director of Partnerships, the Partnerships Manager handles the day-to-day management, activation, and fulfillment of the club's corporate partnership accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring deliverables are executed at the highest level and relationships are nurtured toward retention and growth. You'll also support new business development through prospect research, proposal creation, and presentation prep.
Primary ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end activation and fulfillment of all assigned partnership agreements.
Coordinate in-stadium signage, digital assets, broadcast integrations, and experiential activations with internal teams and vendors.
Track fulfillment costs and stay within budget for each partner account.
Maintain detailed records of deliverables, timelines, and communications in the CRM.
Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned partners; build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
Develop a deep understanding of each partner's business, objectives, and KPIs.
Plan and manage all regular partner communications — check-ins, on-site meetings, recap presentations, and strategy sessions.
Create event-specific, mid-season, and end-of-year recap reports demonstrating asset fulfillment and ROI.
Track and analyze asset performance (impressions, engagement, attendance, digital metrics) and present insights to partners and leadership.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities; present recommendations to the Director.
Support new business efforts with prospect research, proposal creation, and presentation prep.
Contribute market intelligence to help shape packages and pricing.
Collaborate with Marketing, Ticketing, Operations, and Creative to fulfill partnership deliverables across all channels.
Manage and execute partner activations, VIP experiences, and promotions on matchdays, including setup and teardown.
Qualifications2–4 years in sponsorship activation, partnership management, or sales; sports industry experience preferred.
Understanding of sponsorship sales processes and activation best practices.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable building recap decks and delivering presentations.
Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and data reporting tools.
Creative thinker with a team-oriented, proactive work ethic.
Soccer knowledge preferred; Spanish proficiency a plus.
Must be able to work home matchdays (20–25 days per year, often nights and weekends).
