    ABOUT USEstablished in 2007, the Chicago Stars were a founding member of the former Women’s Professional Soccer and later became one of the original eight teams to form the National Women’s Soccer League in 2013. They are the longest continuously operating professional women’s soccer team in the United States. The Chicago Stars have made the playoffs in seven consecutive years, from 2015-2021, while also competing in three championship matches in as many years, including the 2019 and 2021 NWSL Championships and the 2020 Challenge Cup Championship. OVERVIEWThe Equipment Manager II works hand in hand with the Equipment Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the equipment department. DUTIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be requested to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Manage, organize, distribute, and maintain all training and match-day equipment, apparel, and gear for First Team/Sporting Staff as assigned. Maintain detailed records of team equipment, supplies, and distribution through inventory logs, signed checklists, or digital tracking systems, such as Excel spreadsheets and Teamworks Inventory management system. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and in optimal working condition. Help organize all equipment spaces for efficient and effective maintenance of team property. Set up and break down equipment for training sessions, home games, and away matches. QUALIFICATIONS· Two years' minimum experience in team sport management environment · Previous NWSL, Professional or Collegiate Experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS· Must be able to lift 50 pounds· Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours,· Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk.
