    Manager / Director of Ticket SalesLocation: Coralville, IA League: ECHL (Affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild) Reports To: PresidentABOUT THE IOWA HEARTLANDERSThe Iowa Heartlanders are proud members of the ECHL and the NHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild. The organization is entering an exciting growth phase, having spent the past two seasons building stability, strengthening culture, and laying the foundation for long-term success in a largely untapped market. We are seeking a Manager / Director of Ticket Sales to help lead day-to-day ticket sales efforts and support continued revenue growth. This role is ideal for a developing sales leader ready to take the next step in their career. POSITION SUMMARYThe Manager / Director of Ticket Sales will support the planning and execution of ticket sales initiatives across season tickets, group sales,premium and single-game sales. RESPONSIBILITIESTicket Sales & RevenueAssist in executing ticket sales strategies for:Season ticketsGroup salesPremium seatingSingle-game and promotional packagesActively sell tickets and lead by example through personal sales effortsSupport prospecting and lead generation initiativesCollaborate with Marketing on promotions, campaigns, and themed ticket offersSales Team LeadershipHelp train, coach, and motivate Account Executives and Sales InternsSupport onboarding, daily activity tracking, and goal settingProvide feedback and coaching to improve sales performanceReinforce accountability, energy, and a positive team cultureSales Operations & ReportingTrack sales activity and pipeline performance using CRM and ticketing systemsAssist with weekly and monthly reportingMaintain accurate customer and sales recordsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencyFan Experience & Community EngagementDeliver a high level of customer service to ticket buyersAssist with resolving customer questions and concernsBuild and maintain relationships with ticket holders, groups, and community partnersSupport select community events, networking opportunities, and game nightsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sports management, or related field preferred2–5 years of experience in ticket sales or sports businessPrior experience mentoring or assisting junior sales staff is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow as a leaderFamiliarity with CRM and ticketing systemsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsPREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)Group sales experienceFamiliarity with Paciolan or similar ticketing platformsBasic sales reporting or analytics experiencePublic speaking or community engagement experienceCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSCompetitive base salary, commensurate with experiencePerformance-based commission and bonus opportunitiesBenefits packageProfessional development and career advancement opportunitiesWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
