The FC Tulsa core values are as follows: Passion for TulsaGrowth MindsetPositive AttitudeCustomer First FocusHustleFC Tulsa is seeking a creative and growth-minded Communications and Marketing Manager to serve as a primary storyteller and skilled marketing voice for the club. This role is designed for a dynamic writer and communicator who can easily navigate between the world of sports communications and the digital media landscape to amplify club storylines, reach as many fans as possible, and achieve club goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the creation and execution of written club content across all platforms, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
Produce high-quality press releases, game notes, email copy, social captions, and website content.
Lead all media operations, including credentialing, post-match media availability (press conferences), and media area setup/teardown.
Manage a regular schedule of earned media and social performance analysis to provide actionable insights for the front office.
Alongside the creative & marketing teams, help brainstorm and source new content ideas and stay ahead of emerging social media trends to keep FC Tulsa relevant.
Help execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns via Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, consistently delivering on Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) goals.
Assist with managing the club’s email marketing and SMS strategy, including writing and sending several messages to fan databases every week.
Drive SEO optimization of club sites and assist with handling day-to-day website maintenance, including regular updates and new page builds.
Assist in the creation and execution of traditional media campaigns, including billboards, radio spots, and broadcast TV delivery.
Work cross-functionally with all departments to ensure all teams are supported with high-impact copy and marketing assets.
Assist with building and maintaining a comprehensive marketing calendar.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar communications/marketing role.
Requirements: Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day. Ability to focus on projects for periods of time. Role routinely uses standard office equipment. Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
