    Job Description

OverviewThe Lead Concession Runner is available for all events to stock and replenish concession stands.6 ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assisting with receiving and distribution control for the venue. Ensure a proper transfer process of products between locations, including follow-up documentation. Assist in performing maintenance; responsible for concession and utility equipment cleaning and maintenance, portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting. Ensure manifested equipment is in location. Conduct a walk-through of the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean. Possess a thorough working knowledge of all existing concessions locations, geographical locations, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access. Performs opening/closing responsibilities of the bar/beer stand; ensure and maintain the area is operational. Responsible for changing kegs / bibs / CO₂ tanks / propane tanks / repairing beer stands. Responsible for the initial preparation and servicing of the bar, which includes restocking beer, ice, and CO₂; cleaning; and other duties assigned by the bar/beverage management team. Maintains cleanliness of the bar area, beer coolers, refrigeration, and storage areas to comply with health code standards, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing. Stocks and rotates all coolers and maintains cooler temperature log daily. Checks and assists the bartender in maintaining adequate amounts of supplies, i.e., stir sticks, napkins, glassware, etc., for both the immediate bar and beer stands. Take pride in personal appearance, reporting to work in neat and clean clothing and maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy. Working in a team environment with the ability to be a team player and assist other team members when business needs dictate. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. Operates golf cart and/or company truck occasionally to move equipment around the grounds. Qualifications1-2+ years acting as a Runner or similar role in hospitality and food and beverage environments. Must have a valid driver license to operate company vehicles. Must have knowledge or be willing to be trained how to change kegs / bibs / CO₂ tanks / repair pvc drain lines / change light bulbs / etc. Preferred knowledge on draft systems – soda / beer. Must have knowledge of various beers, wines, and spirits. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time and work long hours if needed; maintain excellent attendance. While performing the duties of this position, the team members will regularly be required to: Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
