Position: Motion Graphics InternDepartment: Media AdministrationReporting Relationship: Reports to Senior Producer - Motion GraphicsStatus: Internship (Non-Exempt) Position SummaryThe Motion Graphics Intern will support the Creative Services team in shaping visual storytelling for Tepper Sports & Entertainment (Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC). ResponsibilitiesSupport the motion graphics team in creating content for Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC, helping maintain brand standards and creative directionAssist with concepting, designing, and animating motion assets, including:Social and digital contentIn-stadium video elements (Video Board & Ribbon boards)Brand campaign and sponsor deliverable supportCollaborate with producers, designers, editors, and creative leadership on visual storytelling and creative toolkitsProvide support to internal departments as neededHelp maintain motion graphics templates, systems, and visual style guidelinesAssist on multiple projects at once, learning to manage quick turnarounds and tight deadlines Minimum QualificationsDegree in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related fieldWorking proficiency in After Effects & Adobe Creative SuiteFoundational understanding of typography, layout, timing, and animation principles Preferred QualificationsInterest in designing for sports, entertainment, or high-energy branded environmentsFamiliarity with in-game presentations or unique creative specsBasic 3D knowledge (Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar) a plusAwareness of current motion design trendsSkills & CompetenciesA passion for sports and storytellingA growing design eye paired with a drive for technical growthA collaborative, flexible, and solutions-driven attitudeAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentEagerness to learn and collaborate within a larger creative team Physical RequirementsMust be able to field equipment of up to 30 lbs.
