TITLE: Creative Services Specialist POSITION TYPE: Full Time, ExemptCOMPANY: Sharks Sports and Entertainment, LLCLOCATION: Tech CU Arena, San Jose, CAREPORTS TO: Director, Marketing & CommunicationsPOSTING DATED: April 20, 2026Pay Range: The pay rate for this role is $75,000 - $85,280 per yearActual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Position OverviewThe San Jose Barracuda are seeking a talented and passionate Creative Services Specialist to join our team.
experience. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Creative Services Specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, visually compelling content that aligns with the organization's goals and values.
The ideal candidate is a highly creative, detail-oriented professional with a passion for hockey, strong design skills, and experience in content creation. They will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring innovative ideas to life through various creative mediums.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design and produce high-quality still and motion graphics, and other multimedia content for digital, social, and in-game platforms, ensuring brand consistency.
Develop and manage in-arena visuals, including LED boards and videoboard content, to enhance the fan experience.
Uphold and evolve the Barracuda’s visual identity across all marketing and promotional materials.
Partner with marketing, social media, sponsorship, and sales teams to create impactful campaigns and materials that meet organizational goals.
Work with Barracuda ProShop and other merchandise vendors to develop and execute apparel and retail designsOversee multiple creative projects simultaneously, delivering on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Stay current with industry trends and proactively bring fresh ideas to elevate the Barracuda’s creative presence.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
experience in graphic design, content creation, or a related creative role, preferably in sports or entertainment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant design and video production tools.
Strong understanding of digital content trends, including social media platforms and video production.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and ability to bring innovative ideas to life.
Knowledge of hockey or sports culture is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and game days as required.
