About the Southern Texas PGA:The Southern Texas Section of the PGA of America is comprised of over 1000 golf professionals representing over 300 facilities in Southern Texas. Overview: This part-time opportunity is focused on the STPGA Junior Golf Program in the Austin area. ResponsibilitiesAssist Area Director with infrastructure setup/tear-downOn-site tournament duties would include registration, starting, being a rules official, scoringMonitor pace of play according to STPGA Rules and Regulations Administer quality customer service to juniors and their families representative of the Southern Texas PGAAdditional opportunities throughout the year to assist STPGA Junior Golf HQ team at Prestige Tour tournaments, Drive, Chip and Putts, and PGA Junior League QualificationsMust be willing to learn and take initiative in tournament operationsStrong work ethicEnergetic and outgoing – willing to communicate with parents and membersCompetitive golfer or coach preferred Must live within the Austin, TX metro Compensation and BenefitsStaff pay varies based on starting format/field size $70 -$125 salary per 9-Hole event (based on field size)$125-$150 salary per 18-Hole event (based on field size) $45 per diem per event STPGA staff apparel and uniforms Please apply through TeamWork if interested and qualified candidates will be contacted.
